Terms of service

  Last updated: July 25, 2026

These terms govern your use of The Drawing Store website, software, and services ("we", "us", "the Store" — operated from Ontario, Canada). By buying, downloading, or using our products you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the products.

1. What we sell

  • Desktop software (Acheck, Segmented Bowl Designer) — installed on your own Windows computer.
  • Online apps (Acheck Online, Segmented Bowl Designer online) — run in your browser.
  • Parcel Check — a self-serve tool and an optional done-for-you service.

2. Licenses

  • Desktop licenses are sold per seat (one computer) as a one-time, perpetual license. You may not share, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software or your activation / order number.
  • Online access is provided while your subscription is active or you have unused credits. Accounts are personal to you.
  • You keep ownership of the drawings, cut lists, and files you create with the tools. We keep ownership of the software itself and everything on the website.

3. Your account

Online apps use passwordless sign-in (we email you a one-time code). Keep access to your email secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

Do not: reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the software except where the law expressly allows; share or resell licenses or credits; use the products unlawfully; or attempt to disrupt the website or its security.

5. Professional disclaimer (important)

Acheck and Parcel Check help you calculate and check boundary closures and areas. They are tools, not a survey, and do not replace the professional opinion, sealed plan, or advice of a licensed Ontario Land Surveyor. You are responsible for checking your inputs and results. We are not liable for decisions made from the software's output.

6. Software provided "as is"

We work hard to keep the software accurate and available, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the products is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Payments and refunds

Checkout is handled by LemonSqueezy, our merchant of record, who processes payment and applicable taxes. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms or the products. Material changes take effect when posted here. Continuing to use the products means you accept the current terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
