FAQ

Questions surveyors ask

What are the three editions?
Acheck for AutoCAD — a plugin for AutoCAD and Civil 3D 2023–2027. $300 once, one PC, yours forever.
Acheck Desktop + Online — a Windows program plus the browser version, for a PC with no AutoCAD on it. $300 a year, one seat, as many parcels as you like.
Acheck Online credits — the browser version, paid by the check. $15 for 3, $45 for 10, $150 for 40.
I haven’t got AutoCAD. Which one do I buy?
Acheck Desktop + Online, at $300 a year, if you check parcels regularly. It is a Windows program that runs on any PC, plus the same tool in your browser, and neither needs CAD installed. If you only check a parcel now and then, buy Acheck Online credits instead and pay by the check.
Which AutoCAD and Civil 3D versions does the plugin work with?
Full AutoCAD and Civil 3D 2023 through 2027 — not the LT editions. One install covers them all, with a dockable palette editor.
Does my drawing or survey data get uploaded anywhere?
No. Acheck for AutoCAD and the Windows program both compute on your own machine and work offline. Acheck Online computes in your browser too — the only thing that reaches our server is a count of the check, so your balance can be kept.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes, and every edition has a way in. Acheck for AutoCAD has a 7-day trial. The Windows program has a 7-day trial, no card and no sign-up. The browser version runs the sample parcel free, with no account at all.
Can I get a refund?
Acheck for AutoCAD and the first year of Acheck Desktop + Online both carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. Unused Acheck Online credits are refundable within 30 days — see our Refund Policy.
Buying a home?

Not a surveyor — just want to confirm a lot’s area and layout from the plan in your hand? Check one parcel yourself for $5, or have us do it for $45.
